Helpful Hints for the
See a little red “x” where a button should be?
Don’t panic. It might take a short while of tinkering and tweaking but don’t give up. Try these solutions. The following directions are made for Internet Explorer 6 users (Version 7 is the most recent).
Solution 1: Click the Refresh button a few times. Still won’t work?
Solution 2:
On the top of your screen click on “Tools”
then “Internet Options”
When this window (below) pops up, click the “Delete Files” button in the middle of the window (when prompted, check the box that says “Delete all offline content” then “OK”). Then reload the Saint Luke’s Homepage.

If you still are unable to view the navigation buttons on SaintLukesonline.com, chances are you need to install or enable JAVA on your computers internet browser.
What does this mean?
In order for your computer to view some web pages with special functions, you need to change browser settings and/or add the latest JAVA software to your computer.
Sounds complicated? Be brave!
Continue on to Solution 3 and 4.
Solution 3:
Once again, at the top of the Internet Explorer browser, click on “Tools”. When you click Tools another menu will drop down.
From this new menu click Internet
options.

Once Internet Options is clicked a new
window will appear on screen. 7 tabs should appear across the top of this new
window. Click on the Security
tab.

Once on
the Security window, click the button towards the bottom of the window labeled “Custom
Level”. This will open the Security Settings window.

Once on
the Security Settings window, scroll down to approximately the middle of
the window until you see the Scripting heading. Click “Enable”
next to Active Scripting,
Scripting of Java Applets, and Allow
paste operations via scripting .

Once enabled, click OK at the bottom of the Security Settings window. This will close the security settings window.
Next, go back to the Internet Options window (Tools>Internet Options), click on the “Advanced” tab (farthest right). Scroll Down to “Java(Sun)” check next to “Use Java…”

Click Ok. Then, restart your computer and try viewing the page. No luck? Move on to Solution 4
Solution 4: At this point you may need to download the latest JAVA software that will enable your browser to view the buttons correctly.
Go to http://www.java.com/en/download/index.jsp This is a free download that will install the latest Java software (Java Runtime Environment). Once installed, restart your computer.
